The Centre has etsablished a clear set of aims to ensure it remains at the forefront of research into attention and related disorders.

Our specific aims are to:

• Promote university inter-departmental, cross-departmental, and cross-agency research
• Further promote and extend both national and international research links
• Develop an internship program as an integral component for Graduate Diploma in Education School Psychology students
• Extend and strengthen existing links with the teaching, psychology, and health professions
• Extend existing links with the local community, schools, professional agencies, and support groups through a referral and assessment clinic
• Extend and strengthen existing links with parents of children and adolescents
• Establish and maintain a Distinguished Visitors Program
• Strengthen the local and national educational priorities
• Continue to strengthen the number and quality of published papers
