Specialisation: Curriculum Leadership

This is an articulated diploma which will provide you with full credit towards a Master of Education - Coursework within the faculty of Education.

It is particularly relevant if you want to obtain a postgraduate diploma and use this as full credit towards a master's degree by coursework at a later date.

Course outline

The course provides an award equivalent to half a Master of Education - Coursework for students who wish to exit at that point.

If you want to proceed to one of the specialist Master of Education - Coursework, you should note the course and unit requirements for those degrees and select units accordingly.

If you plan to apply to articulate the diploma with the Master of Education - Coursework or Master of Education (Educational Leadership) - Coursework, or to seek partial credit towards another of the Faculty's master's degrees, you will need to take account of the requirements for the relevant master's degree when choosing your units.

Note: Students who wish to apply for entry to a relevant master's course of the Faculty by way of thesis and coursework must take EDUC8631 Approaches to Research and achieve a minimum mark of 65% for the unit and an average of at least 65% for the coursework units.

Admission requirements

A relevant bachelor's degree requiring at least three years of full time study and either two years professional experience in the field of education or demonstrated research capacity acceptable to the Faculty.
