This course is suited to leaders and professionals in education, health, justice, government administration and management who want to undertake postgraduate study.
The course delivery arrangements are flexible and are particularly aligned with the needs of people in full time careers in the professions or management. Participants are encouraged to pursue coursework and research in their own particular areas of interest.
This course introduces participants to theory as well as national and international educational practices that can be linked with their own experiences and, through dialogue and the sharing of ideas, enhance their knowledge and skills. It also provides participants with comprehensive preparation in conceptualising, conducting and reporting research in education.
The course consists of 4 units and a thesis of 20000 - 25000 words (54 points) to a total value of 72 credit points.

You will be required to undertake the two core units and the following two units:
Applicants must meet the admission requirements, or equivalent as recognised by the Faculty:
A. A four-year Bachelor of Education; and
B. (i) two years relevant professional experience, or
(ii) demonstrated research capacity acceptable to the Faculty.
OR
A. (i) a three year bachelors degree; and
(ii) a one-year postgraduate course in Education and
B. (i) two years relevant full-time professional experience;
(ii) or demonstrated research capacity.
OR
1. a degree requiring at least four years of full-time study; and
2. two years relevant professional experience, and
3. demonstrated research capacity acceptable to the Faculty;
OR
Completion of an articulated graduate diploma of this Faculty.
