Course outline

This course introduces participants to theory as well as national and international educational practices. Participants can then connect these considerations with their own experiences and, through dialogue and the sharing of ideas and information, broaden their knowledge and improve their skills. The course also presents an opportunity to select an area of specialisation while maintaining sufficient flexibility for tailoring to the participant’s individual needs.

The course delivery arrangements are flexible and particularly suited to the needs of people in full time careers in the professions or management.

Course aim

  • To introduce participants to theory combined with national and international educational practices, so they can link diverse theories with their own experiences, broaden their knowledge and improve their understandings, skills and dispositions.
  • To develop specialised skills as a base for further professional research.

Course structure

The course consists of 7 units to a total value of 48 credit points.
