The Faculty offers a wide range of programs catering for the professional development needs of people involved in education.
This course introduces participants to theory as well as national and international educational practices. Participants can then connect these considerations with their own experiences and, through dialogue and the sharing of ideas and information, broaden their knowledge and improve their skills. The course also presents an opportunity to select an area of specialisation while maintaining sufficient flexibility for tailoring to the participant’s individual needs.
The course delivery arrangements are flexible and particularly suited to the needs of people in full time careers in the professions or management.
The course consists of 7 units to a total value of 48 credit points.
You will complete two core units:

You may also choose to specialise in Education Assessment, Measurement and Evaluation.
Applicants must meet the admission requirements, or equivalent as recognised by the Faculty:
A. A four-year Bachelor of Education; and
B. (i) two years relevant professional experience, or
(ii) demonstrated research capacity acceptable to the Faculty.
OR
A. (i) a three year bachelors degree; and
(ii) a one-year postgraduate course in Education and
B. (i) two years relevant full-time professional experience;
(ii) or demonstrated research capacity.
OR
1. a degree requiring at least four years of full-time study; and
2. two years relevant professional experience, and
3. demonstrated research capacity acceptable to the Faculty;
OR
Completion of an articulated graduate diploma of this Faculty.
