The Master of Education by coursework is a 48-point credit course consisting of six units worth six points each (36 points) plus a major paper of 12 points.

It is offered through the Hwa Chong Institution or Ngee Ann Polytechnic.

Course outline

The entire program is conducted in a face-to-face mode with UWA academic staff in Singapore. Units have been chosen to cater for a wide range of interests in professional development of teachers including management, curriculum and research. This will allow you to develop your own special interests as part of your professional development.

If you successfully complete the degree, you will be awarded the Master of Education degree by The University of Western Australia.

Admission requirements

• a bachelor's degree requiring at least four years of full-time study
• two years of professional experience in Education, or evidence of research capacity acceptable to the Faculty
• All UWA coursework programs: English Language Competence
