This is a well-established, popular master's, oriented to the needs of professionals and researchers in education and strongly supported by a broad range of experts in the field, aimed at principals, heads and leaders in all areas of education.

Course outline

This course is suited to educators (government and non-government schools, universities and TAFE). It exposes you to theory and to national and international educational practices so you can link diverse practices with your own experiences and broaden your knowledge and improve practices. It provides an opportunity for you to develop specialised research skills leading to further professional research.

The Master of Educational Management by coursework comprises a research unit, five optional units and a major paper (10,000 words)

Admission requirements

Domestic students

Applicants must meet the admission requirements, or equivalent as recognized by the Faculty:

A. A four-year Bachelor of Education; and
B. (i) two years professional experience in Education, or
     (ii) demonstrated research capacity acceptable to the Faculty.
OR

1. a degree requiring at least four years of full-time study; and
2. two years professional experience in Education, and
3. demonstrated research capacity acceptable to the Faculty
OR

completion of an articulated graduate diploma of this Faculty.
