This course is suited to educators in government and non-government schools, universities and TAFE.
You will be exposed to theory and national and international educational practices so that you can link diverse practices with your own experiences. Tthrough discussion, debate and the sharing of ideas and information, you will broaden your knowledge and improve your practices.
The course by way of thesis and coursework consists of units to a total value of 72 points comprising three coursework units (18 points), and a thesis of 20000 - 25000 words (54 points):

Applicants must meet the admission requirements, or equivalent as recognized by the Faculty:
A. A four-year Bachelor of Education; and
B. (i) two years professional experience in Education, or
(ii) demonstrated research capacity acceptable to the Faculty;
OR
1. a degree requiring at least four years of full-time study; and
2. two years professional experience in Education, and
3. demonstrated research capacity acceptable to the Faculty;
OR
completion of three coursework units in an articulated graduate diploma of this Faculty with an overall mark of 65%, including a mark of at least 65% in EDUC8631 Approaches to Research.
