Course outline

This is a research degree and may provide eligibility for entry into a PhD or EdD program.

The course by way of thesis and coursework consists of units to a total value of 72 points comprising three coursework units (18 points), and a thesis of 20,000- 25,000 words (54 points)

Admission requirements

  • a four-year Bachelor of Education degree, or equivalent
  • two years of professional experience in Education, or, evidence of research capacity acceptable to the Faculty
  • All UWA postgraduate research programs: English Language Competence
