Submitting with InCAS+

InCAS+ is a secure website, developed by the Centre for Evaluation and Monitoring (CEM).

InCAS+ is the hub of InCAS - used to upload your data, and retrieve and store your feedback.

The InCAS assessment is a web-based program.

The teacher sets up assessment sessions for each student, choosing the assessment components they want each student to see. Students can work through the InCAS assessment with minimal supervision and support.

The program is tailored to each student's ability. If a student starts to falter in a given section, the program automatically moves on to more suitable questions.

In this way, the student is not presented with a fixed number of questions that must be attempted, as this can be detrimental to a student who is aware that he or she cannot answer correctly.

The task is designed to measure students in many different contexts, and is not designed to assess them against local curriculum objectives.
