Performance Indicators in Primary Schools

Assessment feedback

Schools receive two sets of feedback, available by downloading from the AusPIPS website.

There is one after the Baseline (first) Assessment and one following the Final (end of year) Assessment.

All feedback includes raw and standardised scores tables, with raw scores transformed to corresponding standardised scores.

These scores are based on a larger sample (your cohort), characterised by a normal distribution.

Because of this, standardised scores can be used with confidence to compare different parts of the assessment as well as groups and individuals .
