Centres
- Centre for Child and Adolescent Related Disorders: is a world leader in innovative research into childhood and adolescent attention-deficit disorder and comorbid disorders.
- Pearson Psychometrics Laboratory: strengthens the internationally-recognised expertise in psychometrics at the Faculty of Education.
Performance indicators and tools
- Performance Indicators in Primary Schools (PIPS): Through PIPS, we help schools throughout Australia assess the performances of their students in literacy, numeracy and phonological awareness.
- Interactive Computerised Assessment System (InCAS): is administered by UWA, and is offered to schools throughout Australia. InCAS can help monitor student progress throughout primary schooling and into high school.
- Early Years Literacy and Numeracy Data (EYLND) provides a monitoring and assessment service for Western Australian schools, tracking student progress in literacy and numeracy from years one to three.

- Postgraduate Research Forums: Fogarty Foundation Postgraduate Forum is an opportunity to showcase the research being conducted within the Faculty.
Projects
- Enhancing Frameworks: a project aimed to enhance learning and teaching in Australian university offshore education programs
- Education Research and Perspectives journal: has been published continuously since December 1950
- Making the Links: Integrating spelling, word building, vocabulary and comprehension: a three year study, 2010 to 2012 commissioned by the Catholic Education Office of Western Australia (CEOWA) as part of the National Partnership funding.
- Thinking Science Australia: a two year program of professional development for teachers implementing the cognitive acceleration (CASE) program in Western Australian schools.

- Teaching for Growth: Effective Teaching of Literacy and Numeracy 2008: this three-year longitudinal study on the effective teaching of literacy and numeracy was completed for the Western Australian Department of Education and Training
- Teaching Australia - Study of the effectiveness of teacher education: 2008-2010: this report contains Teacher Learning Inventories for primary school literacy and lower secondary mathematics.
