History
Initially called The Educand, the title was changed in 1961 to The Australian Journal of Higher Education, with the present title being adopted in 1974.
Throughout its history, the journal has been multi-disciplinary in outlook, with a mixture of general issues and issues devoted to special topics.
Education Research and Perspectives has been published continuously by the Faculty of Education since December 1950.
- The journal includes articles, review essays and book reviews.
- The range of authors is worldwide.
- It is published on a bi-annual basis (in June and December) and all articles are subject to external review and report.
