If so, you can nominate them for an Excellence in Teaching and Learning award up to using the online nomination form.
The faculties of Architecture, Landscape and Visual Arts; Education; and Law have combined to offer Awards for Excellence in Teaching and Learning.
The Awards are a way of recognising and rewarding outstanding teaching, research supervision, programs and student support within the faculties.
It is an opportunity to acknowledge those teachers and other staff members who make a real difference to the learning experience of our students.
Students and staff members can nominate academic and general staff for awards in teaching and learning excellence in several categories:
Academic staff can be nominated in any category; all staff are eligible for nominations in categories 3 and 4.
Please note that only research students (and staff) can submit nominations in Category 2 and only Law students can submit an application in Category 5.
Before making a nomination, staff and students should read the selection criteria for each award:
Nominees for all awards except the Blackstone Society Law Teacher of the Year award will be invited to make a submission to the Judging Panel and successful nominees will be recognised at appropriate Faculty and University events. Staff and students who nominate successful award winners will also be invited to the University awards ceremony.
The Blackstone Society is responsible for the judging and awarding of the Blackstone Society Law Teaching of the Year award.
Winners may be nominated for consideration by the University for:
