On completion of a Master’s degree in Education, you will be able to demonstrate:

- respect for the principles, procedures and practices of the field of Education, its disciplines, and relevant professions
Knowledge
- mastery of subject matter and familiarity with current issues in a particular Educational discipline, including the related professional knowledge base

- capacity to describe, interpret and synthesise conceptual, empirical and professional literature in Education and related areas
- comprehension of the processes involved in conceptualising, designing and undertaking original research
Communication
- capacity to convey clearly and discuss analytically concepts, arguments and research, both orally and in writing
- willingness to engage in a community of practice
Application
- awareness of the ways in which his/her knowledge and research link to scholarly and professional issues in local, national and international communities.
In addition, you will be able to demonstrate:
- capacity to independently conceptualise, design, undertake and report original research
- capacity to independently solve problems occurring in a research agenda
- ability to produce an examinable scholarly thesis according to required stipulations
- ability to relate your research to research activities at both national and international levels
- ability to communicate research findings clearly, both orally and in writing, and disseminate these findings to other scholars and practitioners.
