Evaluation of Thinking Science Australia is critical to the success of the project.
Baseline data has been collected prior to the implementation of the cognitive acceleration program on students’ level of cognitive development using a Piagetian Science Reasoning Task (SRT), as developed by Shayer (1978).
A further SRT will be administered to students at the conclusion of the two-year program.
